Biography
Jessica Black was born in Berlin/Germany. She has been playing the piano since the age of seven. In 1995 Jessica became a member of the improvisationgroup "Ikarus" and then started an acting education at the Fritz-Kirchhoff school "Der Kreis" in 1997 to pursue her career as an actress. After her graduation Jessica spend six months in New York City to improve her acting skills at the Lee Strasberg Institute for Theatre, Film & TV. Back in Berlin, Jessica played in various filmlets and off-theatre productions like in the Loop-production "Der arme Ritter", which she wrote and directed. After that she played the leading part in "Zum letzten Gang" (directed by Klaus Hoser), a music theatre play written by Manuel Kressin and Klaus Hoser. Jessica and her husband Hannes are starting to set up their own production company.
